Terms of service

DiGi Links lets you create branded short links and QR codes that open a WhatsApp chat with a phone number you choose. Depending on your plan, you can:

• share chats across several numbers with smart routing: by turns, by business hours, by the visitor’s country or by where they came from;
• pre-fill the first message and rotate between versions of it, including A/B tests and chat codes that tie a chat to a click;
• download styled QR codes for print and packaging;
• see click analytics such as countries, devices, sources, and which number and message each visitor got;
• work with your team in a shared workspace.

What the service is not. DiGi Links is not a WhatsApp Business API provider. We don’t send, receive, read or store WhatsApp messages, and we don’t provide an inbox, a chatbot or a broadcast tool. When a visitor taps your link, we send them on to WhatsApp, and the conversation happens inside WhatsApp, directly between the visitor and you.

Your use of WhatsApp, and every conversation that starts from one of your links, is governed by WhatsApp’s own terms: the WhatsApp Terms of Service and, for business accounts, the WhatsApp Business Terms of Service, Business Policy and Commerce Policy. You are responsible for following them, for example by only messaging people who want to hear from you.

We don’t control WhatsApp. We can’t guarantee that WhatsApp is available, that a number is registered on or allowed by WhatsApp, or how WhatsApp shows a pre-filled message. If WhatsApp limits or bans one of your numbers, that is a matter between you and WhatsApp.

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract under the law that applies to you.
• Give us accurate information when you sign up and keep your email address up to date. We send verification and password-reset emails, invitations and important notices there.
• Keep your password secret and don’t reuse it from other sites. Each login is for one person: to work with others, invite them to your workspace instead of sharing a login.
• You are responsible for everything that happens under your account. Tell us straight away at [email protected] if you think someone else has used it.

Links, numbers, analytics, the plan and the team all belong to a workspace. The person who creates a workspace is its owner and can invite others with one of these roles:

• Owner: full control, including roles and the workspace itself.
• Admin: works on links, manages the plan and billing, and can invite or remove members.
• Member: creates, edits and shares links and sees analytics.

A workspace and its content belong to the business it was created for. Its owners decide who has access and are responsible for removing people who should no longer have it. Everyone in a workspace must follow these terms, and what a member does in the workspace is treated as done on the workspace’s behalf.

If people disagree about who controls a workspace, we normally follow the instructions of its owner. Before changing ownership we may ask for reasonable proof, such as evidence that you are authorised to act for the business. The number of team seats depends on the plan.

The Free plan is free for as long as you use it, within the limits shown on our pricing page. Paid plans add more links, smart routing, a longer stats window, team seats and other features. The pricing page always shows the current plans, prices and limits, and those are part of these terms.

Free trial. Each workspace can try the Pro or Business plan free for 14 days, once, without a card. If you don’t choose a paid plan by the end of the trial, the workspace moves to the Free plan, and if it then has more live links than the Free plan allows, the rules in plan limits apply. We may refuse a trial that looks like an attempt to repeat one, for example through a new workspace for the same business.

Plan limits count live links only, meaning links that are switched on and not paused by plan. Paused links never count, so you can keep as many paused links as you like. When a workspace reaches its limit, you can pause a link or upgrade to make another one live.

A workspace can end up with more live links than its plan allows when a trial ends, after a downgrade, or when a renewal payment finally fails. In that case:

• Nothing is deleted and nothing changes for 14 days.
• A banner in the dashboard lets you choose which links stay live, with the links that had the most clicks in the last 30 days selected to start with.
• If you haven’t chosen by the end of the 14 days, the most-clicked links stay live and the rest are paused by plan.
• Smart-routing links beyond your plan’s routed-link allowance keep working, but send every chat to their first active number.
• Upgrading at any time automatically restores links paused by plan and full smart routing, up to the new plan’s allowance.

Click history is kept for as long as a link exists. The dashboard shows the stats window your plan includes, from 7 days on Free to 1 year on Business.

• Prices are in Indian rupees (INR) for customers in India and in US dollars (USD) for customers elsewhere. A workspace’s billing currency is fixed after its first payment.
• All prices, in INR and in USD, exclude taxes. We don’t add any tax at checkout, so the amount charged is the price shown. Depending on where you are, taxes such as GST or VAT may apply to services bought from a company outside your country; any such tax, for example under the reverse-charge mechanism, is yours to account for.
• If the law later requires us to charge a tax on the service, we will show it at checkout and tell you at least 30 days before it applies to a renewal, so that you can cancel before then.
• USD plans are paid by international card.
• Payments are processed by Razorpay, an Indian payment gateway, under its own terms. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or netbanking password.
• Paid plans are subscriptions that renew automatically at the end of each monthly or yearly period. We charge the payment method or mandate you set up (UPI Autopay, card or netbanking e-mandate) until you cancel. As RBI rules for recurring payments require, your bank or UPI app may notify you before each charge, and larger charges may need you to approve them.
• When you set up a mandate, your bank may take a small authorisation amount to confirm it, which is refunded.
• We email you at least 30 days before a price increase applies to your plan. It takes effect from your next renewal, and you can cancel before then.
• Every payment gets an invoice that you can download or print from Billing in your dashboard. Invoices are issued by DIGI GROWTH IT SOLUTION L.L.C, a limited liability company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and aren’t sent by email. Add your business name, address and any tax ID (such as a GSTIN, VAT number or TRN) to your billing details before you pay so they appear on the invoice.

Upgrades take effect immediately. We charge the prorated difference for the rest of the current period straight away, and the new price applies from the next renewal.

Downgrades and changes between monthly and yearly billing take effect at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep your current plan until then. If the workspace then has more live links than the new plan allows, the rules in plan limits apply.

Because banks need a fresh approval for a different amount, a plan change may ask you to approve a new mandate.

Failed payments. If a renewal payment fails, Razorpay retries it automatically one, two and three days later, and paid features keep working while it does. Billing in your dashboard shows the payment as overdue so that you can fix the payment method with your bank or UPI app. If every retry fails, the subscription stops and the workspace moves to the Free plan, as described in plan limits. Nothing is deleted, and you can upgrade again at any time.

You can cancel a paid plan at any time from Billing in your dashboard. Cancelling stops future renewals: you keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for, and then the workspace moves to the Free plan. There are no cancellation fees, and cancelling doesn’t refund the current period automatically.

You can also stop using the service and delete your account at any time from Settings in your dashboard, as described in the privacy policy.

Refunds are covered by our refund policy. In short: a yearly plan is refunded in full if you ask within 7 days of its first payment, duplicate or mistaken charges are always refunded in full, and otherwise payments aren’t refunded pro rata. Refunds reach the original payment method in 5–7 business days. Nothing in these terms limits a refund you are entitled to under a consumer protection law that applies to you, such as India’s Consumer Protection Act, 2019, or under any other law.

Use the service only for lawful purposes and in line with our acceptable use policy. Links may never be used for spam, phishing, scams, impersonation, illegal goods or services, malware, or to get around WhatsApp’s own policies. Don’t try to break, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or to get around plan limits or security controls.

“Your content” is what you put into the service: link names and titles, phone numbers, pre-filled messages, notes, tags and QR code designs. You keep all rights to it. You give us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, copy, process and display your content only as needed to run, secure and improve the service for you, for example to fill in a message for a visitor or show a link’s title in a chat preview.

You are responsible for your content and for the conversations your links lead to. You confirm that:

• you own or are authorised to use every phone number you add, and the people who use those numbers, such as your team, know that their number is used this way;
• your link names, titles and messages don’t infringe anyone’s rights, such as a trademark, and don’t mislead visitors about who they will be talking to;
• you give your visitors any notice, and get any consent, that the law requires of you when you collect personal data in a chat, for example under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 or the UAE’s Personal Data Protection Law.

Link names are first come, first served. We may reclaim or change a link name that infringes someone’s rights, impersonates a brand or public body, or is needed for the service, and we tell you first where we reasonably can.

We don’t review links before they go live, but we may review any link that is reported to us or that we come across, and act under the acceptable use policy.

We may pause a link, limit features, or suspend or close an account or workspace if:

• it breaks these terms or the acceptable use policy;
• a law, a court or a government authority requires it, including a lawful direction from an authority in the UAE or India;
• it puts visitors, other customers, or the service and its domains at risk, for example a link used in an active scam;
• a renewal payment can’t be collected, in which case the workspace moves to the Free plan rather than being closed.

Where we reasonably can, we tell you first, explain why and give you a chance to fix the problem. For serious harm, such as phishing or fraud, we may act straight away and tell you afterwards. If you think we got it wrong, reply to our notice or contact the Grievance Officer and we will review the decision.

You can stop using the service at any time. When an account or workspace is closed, its links stop working and we delete its data as the privacy policy describes, except what the law requires us to keep, such as invoices. If an account is closed for breaking the acceptable use policy, no refund is due for the rest of the period. Sections that by their nature should continue after termination, such as payment obligations, disclaimers, limitation of liability, indemnity and governing law, continue to apply.

We work hard to keep links fast and available around the clock, but we don’t promise that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. We sometimes need maintenance, and events outside our control, such as outages at our hosting provider, WhatsApp, payment providers or internet networks, can affect it. Unless we sign a separate written agreement with you, there is no uptime guarantee or service credit.

We improve the service continually and may add, change or remove features. If we remove a feature that is a material part of a paid plan you are on, we tell you in advance so that you can cancel before your next renewal.

The service, including its software, design, documentation and the DiGi Links name and logo, belongs to DIGI GROWTH IT SOLUTION L.L.C or its licensors and is protected by law. While your account is active you have a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service under these terms; no ownership passes to you. Don’t copy, modify, resell or build a competing product from the service, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we endorse you, without our written permission.

QR codes you download for your own links are yours to use on your own materials.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them freely and without any obligation to you.

Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal data, including the limited data we record when someone clicks your links. We never store visitors’ IP addresses with click analytics. You decide why your links are used and what you do with their analytics, so you are responsible for any notice your visitors need.

As far as the law allows, the service is provided “as is” and “as available”. We give no warranty, express or implied, that it will meet your needs, be available at any particular time, or that analytics will be complete. For example, some clicks can’t be attributed to a source, and bots and link previews are filtered out on a best-effort basis. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have as a consumer that the law doesn’t allow to be excluded.

As far as the law allows:

• we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data, even if we were told they might happen;
• we are not liable for what happens inside WhatsApp, for the content of conversations, or for the acts of people who click your links;
• our total liability for all claims about the service in any 12-month period is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in that period or, if you paid nothing, ₹5,000 (US$100 for USD accounts).

These limits don’t apply to liability that can’t be limited by law, such as liability for fraud.

You agree to compensate DIGI GROWTH IT SOLUTION L.L.C for reasonable losses, costs (including reasonable legal fees) and liabilities that arise from a third-party claim about your content, your links, your use of WhatsApp, or your breach of these terms or of the law. We will tell you promptly about such a claim and let you take part in defending it.

These terms, and any dispute about them or the service, are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Dubai. Before going to court, please contact us so that we can try to solve the problem informally; most issues can be sorted out quickly. Subject to that, the courts of Dubai, United Arab Emirates have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute about these terms or the service.

If you use the service as a consumer, this choice of law and courts doesn’t take away the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and you can still bring a claim where those laws allow, for example before a consumer commission under India’s Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

For users in India, as the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 require, we have appointed a Grievance Officer. We acknowledge complaints within 24 hours and resolve them within 15 days. To report a specific link, the fastest route is the report form.

• Entire agreement. These terms and the policies they refer to are the whole agreement between you and us about the service, unless we sign a separate written agreement.
• Severability. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
• No waiver. If we don’t enforce a right straight away, we can still enforce it later.
• Assignment. You may not transfer your account or these terms without our consent. We may transfer them as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of our business, and will tell you if we do.
• Events outside our control. Neither of us is responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond reasonable control, such as natural disasters, power or network outages, or government action.
• Notices. We send notices to the email address on your account or show them in the dashboard. You can send notices to us at [email protected].

We may update these terms as the service and the law change. For material changes we email workspace owners or show a notice in the dashboard at least 15 days before they take effect, unless the law requires a change sooner. The date at the top of this page shows the current version. If you keep using the service after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms; if you don’t agree, you can cancel before then.
