Getting started
What is DiGi Links?
DiGi Links gives you short, branded links and QR codes that open a WhatsApp chat with your business, with the message already typed.
Behind one link you can add several numbers and decide who gets each chat: by turns, working hours, country or where the visitor came from. Every click is counted, without bots or link previews.
Do I need the WhatsApp Business API?
No. Links open a normal chat in the WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business app, on phones and on desktop. There is nothing to install, nothing to get approved and no per-message fee.
DiGi Links is not an inbox or a chatbot: you reply from WhatsApp exactly as you do today.
How do I create my first link?
Sign up with your email and confirm it from the email we send. Create a workspace for your business, then open Links and choose New link.
Add your WhatsApp number, write the message customers will send, pick a name for the link and publish. You can copy the link or download its QR code straight away.
Create your free linkIs there a free plan?
Yes. The Free plan includes one branded link with a styled QR code and 7 days of click stats, and it never expires. You can change the number or message any time.
Want to try more? Each workspace can try Pro or Business free for 14 days, once, without a card.
Compare plansWhich apps and devices do links work on?
Any phone or computer with WhatsApp or WhatsApp Business. On a phone the app opens directly; on a computer the visitor continues in WhatsApp Desktop or WhatsApp Web.
Can I make a plain wa.me link without an account?
Yes. Our free link generator makes a standard wa.me link and QR code in your browser. Nothing is stored, but you can’t edit it later or see clicks, which is what a branded link is for.

Can I change the number or message after sharing the link?
Yes, as often as you like. The link and its QR code stay the same and the change applies from the very next click, because redirects are never cached by browsers.
What is smart routing?
Smart routing puts several WhatsApp numbers behind one link. Each click is sent to one of them based on the mode you pick: split by turns or weight, working hours, visitor country, or traffic source.
It starts on Starter (1 routed link with up to 3 numbers). Pro includes 5 routed links with up to 10 numbers each, and Business 50 with up to 20.
See routing in detailHow does splitting by turns and weight work?
By turns uses a smooth round-robin, so chats are spread evenly instead of in bursts. Give a number a weight from 1 to 10 to change its share: a weight of 2 gets twice as many chats as a weight of 1. You can also choose random picking with the same weights.
What happens outside working hours, or when no rule matches?
In working-hours, country and source modes, the last number in the list is the fallback. Anyone who doesn’t match a rule goes there, so no visitor ever hits a dead end.
Working hours follow the link’s time zone and can run overnight, for example 22:00 to 06:00.
How are country and traffic source detected?
Country comes from an approximate location lookup on the visitor’s connection at the moment of the click; the IP address itself is never stored.
Source is detected from the in-app browser (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube), the referring website, or the utm_source tag on your link, so you can route your own campaigns by tagging them.
What is sticky routing?
With sticky routing on, a visitor who clicks again within 30 minutes or 24 hours reaches the same person as before, so they don’t have to explain themselves twice.
Can I personalise the pre-filled message?
Yes. Write {{name}} or {{name|default}} and the value comes from the link’s address, so example.link/offer?name=Ravi fills in “Ravi”. The text after the bar is used when the value is missing.
{{agent}} becomes the name of the teammate the chat was routed to, and {{code}} adds a chat code. You can use up to 10 variables in a message.
How do message variants and A/B tests work?
Paid plans can rotate up to 5 message variants per link, each with a weight. Analytics show how often each variant was sent, and chat codes let you match real conversations back to the variant that started them.
What are chat codes?
Add {{code}} to your message and each click gets a unique six-character reference like K7Q2MX. When the customer’s message arrives, look the code up on the link’s page to see when they clicked, which number and message they got, and their country, device and source.
Chat codes are included from the Starter plan.
Can I password-protect a link or make it expire?
Yes, from the Starter plan. Password-protected links ask visitors for the password before opening the chat. After the expiry date, visitors see a page saying the link has expired.
What happens when I pause a link?
Visitors see a page saying the link has been turned off by its owner, and no chat opens. Switch it back on and it works again immediately, with the same address and QR code.
Paused links never count towards your plan’s link limit, so you can keep as many as you like.
Can I choose the name of my link?
Yes. Use 2 to 50 letters, numbers and hyphens, or leave it empty and we’ll generate a name that’s easy to read aloud. A few names are reserved for our own pages.
Custom domains are coming soon: Business plans will be able to use up to 3 for their links.
Analytics
What counts as a click?
A click is a visit to your link that opens a chat. Link previews (when WhatsApp, Facebook or another app fetches your link to show a card) are counted separately, and known bots are excluded. Uptime monitors that only peek at the link aren’t counted.
How are unique visitors counted?
We combine the visitor’s connection and browser into a keyed one-way hash and count distinct hashes. The IP address is never stored, and the hash can’t be turned back into one.
Why do I have more clicks than chats?
A click means the chat opened with your message typed in. Some people then decide not to press send. Chat codes help you match the conversations you did receive back to their clicks.
How long are stats kept?
Click history is kept for as long as the link exists. Permanently deleting a link deletes its click history.
The dashboard shows the stats window your plan includes: Free 7 days, Starter 30 days, Pro 90 days, Business 1 year. Upgrade and the longer window covers the history that’s already there.
Can I export my data?
CSV export of clicks is available on the Pro and Business plans.
How accurate is the country data?
Country is looked up from the visitor’s connection when they click and is right for the vast majority of visits. VPNs and some mobile networks can show a different country.
Billing and plans
Do prices include tax, and who issues my invoice?
Indian prices are in rupees, and customers outside India can pay in US dollars. Prices are shown excluding taxes, and no tax is added at checkout, so the price you see is what you pay. Depending on where your business is, taxes such as GST or VAT may apply to services bought from a company abroad, and you may need to account for them yourself (for example under the reverse-charge mechanism).
Every payment gets an invoice that you can download or print from Billing in your dashboard. Invoices are issued by DIGI GROWTH IT SOLUTION L.L.C, a limited liability company registered in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, and aren’t sent by email. Add your business name, address and any tax ID (such as a GSTIN, VAT number or TRN) to your billing details before you pay so they appear on the invoice.
See pricingHow can I pay?
In India: UPI Autopay, debit and credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, RuPay) and netbanking e-mandates, through Razorpay. Customers outside India can pay in US dollars by international card.
How does the free trial work?
Each workspace can try Pro or Business free for 14 days, once, with no card needed. If you don’t choose a paid plan by the end, the workspace moves to the Free plan.
Nothing is deleted. If you then have more live links than the Free plan allows, you get 14 days to choose which ones stay live.
Can I upgrade, downgrade or cancel?
Yes, from Billing in your dashboard. Upgrades take effect immediately, and you pay the prorated difference for the rest of the current period straight away.
Downgrades and changes between monthly and yearly billing take effect at the end of the current paid period. If you cancel, you keep your plan until the period you’ve paid for ends, and then the workspace moves to the Free plan. Cancelling doesn’t refund the current period automatically.
What counts towards my plan’s link limit?
Plan limits count live links only, meaning links that are switched on and not paused by plan. Paused links never count, so you can keep as many paused links as you like. Drafts don’t count either.
When you reach the limit, pause a link or upgrade to make another one live. Smart-routing links and team seats have their own limits on each plan.
Compare plansWhat if I have more live links than my plan allows?
This can happen when a trial ends, after a downgrade or after a failed renewal.
Nothing is deleted and nothing changes for 14 days.
A banner in the dashboard lets you choose which links stay live, with the links that had the most clicks in the last 30 days selected to start with.
If you haven’t chosen by the end of the 14 days, the most-clicked links stay live and the rest are paused by plan.
Smart-routing links beyond your plan’s routed-link allowance keep working, but send every chat to their first active number.
Upgrading at any time automatically restores links paused by plan and full smart routing, up to the new plan’s allowance.
What happens if a renewal payment fails?
Razorpay retries the payment automatically one, two and three days later, and your paid features keep working meanwhile. Billing in your dashboard shows the payment as overdue so you can fix it with your bank or UPI app.
If every retry fails, the subscription stops and the workspace moves to the Free plan. Nothing is deleted, and links over the Free limit get the same 14-day grace period.
Can I get a refund?
Yearly plans are refunded in full if you ask within 7 days of the first payment, and duplicate or mistaken charges are always refunded in full. Otherwise payments aren’t refunded pro rata.
Refunds go back to your original payment method and arrive in 5–7 business days.

Why do I need to confirm my email?
It proves the address is yours, so we can send password resets, invitations and important account notices to the right person. Check your spam folder if the email hasn’t arrived within a few minutes.
I forgot my password. What now?
Choose “Forgot password?” on the sign-in page and we’ll email you a link to set a new one.
Reset your passwordWhat do you store about the people who click my links?
Country, device type, operating system, browser, the referring site or app, and which number and message they got. IP addresses are never stored.
Read the privacy policyHow do I delete my account or data?
Delete links from the Links page; a deleted link stops working straight away. To delete your account, open Settings in the dashboard: we email you a link to confirm first, and every workspace where you’re the only member is deleted with it.
For anything else about your data, write to [email protected] from the email address on your account.
Your privacy rightsHow do I report a link that’s being misused?
Use the report form with the link’s address and what’s wrong. Links used for spam, scams or impersonation are switched off.
Report abuseTeams
What is a workspace?
A workspace holds one business: its links, numbers, analytics, team and plan. You can belong to several workspaces and switch between them from the menu, which is handy for agencies and multi-brand owners.
What can each role do?
Owner: full control, including roles and the workspace itself. Admin: works on links, manages the plan and billing, and can invite or remove members. Member: creates, edits and shares links and sees analytics.
How do I invite a teammate?
Owners and admins can invite people from the Team page by email. The invitation email contains a link; your teammate signs in or creates an account with that same email address to join.
How many people can join a workspace?
Seats per plan: Free 1, Starter 1, Pro 2, Business 5. Need more? Business customers can talk to us about larger teams.
